Our team attended the 2026 Development Banking Research Conference - Public banks in a changing global financial architecture, in Clermont Ferrand. Very interesting discussions about the role and potential for Public Development Banks. We presented our work on “Scaling up local currency financing”, based on our project with the Climate Policy Initiative and the FiCS Financial Innovation Lab. It was great to meet policymakers and researchers working on this, including our colleague at CPI Taarika Peres.
